I tried to google it when I got it from a friend but I couldn't find the name of the painter.
One related piece of art is a book known as "The Hundred" by Michal Hart who tried to enlist the most famous people (with respect to their influence) in the history of the mankind. Guess who he chose to be on top of the list.
